PR Account Director - Hospitality

KRG are exclusively partnered with a reputable, boutique PR agency that has been delivering innovative strategies for over 10 years. Known for their expertise within the hospitality industry including bars, chefs, and restaurant clients - they''re now seeking another talented PR Account Director to join their close-knit team.
This is a key role for the agency, you will lead a diverse portfolio of 12 exciting clients and oversee a team of 2 direct reports across your accounts. You will have the opportunity to shape the agency''s growth, steer client campaigns, and play a key part in its future success with clear pathways for progression up to Associate Director and partner level.
What You''ll Do:
- Lead and manage a varied portfolio of hospitality, bar, chef, and restaurant clients, delivering innovative and effective PR campaigns.
- Oversee and mentor a team of two, fostering their development and ensuring campaign excellence.
- Develop senior press relationships and manage contacts with key commentators, industry spokespeople and sector relevant influencers.
- Develop strategic PR plans aligned with client objectives and industry trends.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, media contacts, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with your team to deliver campaigns on time, within scope, and within budget (this level of role will include budget management responsibilities).
- Offer crisis management and counsel to clients.
- Oversee media strategy and account development.
- Formulate business strategy in conjunction with other directors.
- Contribute to the agency''s growth initiatives and strategic direction.
- Support new business development and pitching efforts.
What We''re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a PR agency environment; this role is open to Senior Account Managers ready to step up or Account Directors seeking a new challenge and growth opportunities.
- Previous experience working within hospitality, bars, chefs, or restaurant sectors is required.
- Strong account management skills with experience leading campaigns.
- People management or leadership experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills.
- A proactive, creative approach with a passion for the hospitality industry.
