The Development and Production Test Engineer position is a crucial part of the company''s manufacturing team, responsible for providing technical support and expertise during the production testing of advanced weapons systems. Responsibilities: - Providing Test Engineering support throughout the design and development phases, from initial concept to production readiness review and release to operations. - Supporting the introduction of test facilities and ensuring configuration control of equipment and facilities prior to use, including generating supporting test specifications and operator instructions. - Assisting with the testing of electrical and electronic weapon systems, diagnosing production test failures down to the subsystem level. - Identifying remedial and corrective actions to allow manufacturing to continue production in line with program objectives. - Evaluating technical problems and developing proposals for test equipment investigations and corrective actions, including process improvements. - Representing Test Engineering at Defect Review Board meetings to ensure efficient progress of equipment and quality notifications towards corrective action.
