Overview

An immediate requirement is available for a freelance design manager to fulfil a rolling contract likely upto 6 mths for a construction business based in the Leeds area. This role will be site based and you will be working closely with the site delivery team day to day, with a report back to the lead design manager.As the Design Management expert within the team you will be required to leverage your knowledge with regard to technical support, building control and design coordination.Responsibilities

Operate as the Design Management expert within the project team, providing technical support, coordinating design activities, and ensuring alignment with building control requirements.Work on a site-based basis, collaborating daily with the site delivery team and reporting to the lead design manager.Adapt to the needs of a newbuild contracting business, contributing to design coordination and issue resolution as issues arise.Qualifications

Proven track record operating within a newbuild contracting business.Ability to think on your feet and slot into an existing team quickly.Collaborative, can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously and flexibly.How to apply
