Head of Client Services / Electronic Trading Support Tier 1 Trading Tech ProviderLondon | Hybrid | exceptional base + bonus + equityA leading global trading technology vendor is seeking a senior operator to lead a high-impact, technical team at the intersection of trading support, client services, and engineering. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with world-class founders, shape the function, and help scale a business that services some of the largest and most sophisticated trading firms in the world including hedge funds, market makers, and asset managers.The RoleThis is not a typical production support job. The successful candidate will bring a blend of technical depth, client-facing acumen, and leadership experience. Youll be hands-on in the early stages understanding systems, mentoring engineers, and building operational maturity across the support function. Over time, youll shape the teams strategic direction and deepen relationships with external clients.Your role:Act as the escalation point for high-stakes incidents with major trading clientsEngage directly with senior stakeholders, building trust and credibilityBe accountable for production stability and client experience across regionsScale the teams processes, tools, and performance globallyManage and coach high-performing ICs, many of whom are strong codersHelp tier client interactions, optimise time allocation, and drive efficiencyOwn execution-related support asset class agnostic but must understand high standardsAbout you:Proven experience in trading support, SRE and/or production engineeringStrong knowledge of execution systems or real-time trading infrastructureStrong client engagement skills must be able to interface eloquently with major institutional clientsExecutive presence and EQ a calm operator under pressureHands-on enough to guide and earn the respect of a highly technical teamCloud-native mindset and familiarity with observability, automation, and toolingExperience working in high-performance or low-latency environments (asset class flexible)SaaS knowledge and experience a plusWork directly with founders and influence business strategyInherit a top-tier global team with strong pedigreeClear mandate and autonomy to build and evolve the functionTech-first culture with no red tape business cases win, not bureaucracyPlatform processes billions daily; multiple industry awards and record growthExceptional people, comp, benefits and cultureNote:
