Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (Primary)

Salary: £85 - 110  per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tenterden. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, particularly those with additional needs.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN)

• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

• Help pupils develop social skills and emotional resilience

• Encourage independence and confidence in the classroom

• Support with behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment

• A warm and community-focused primary school at the heart of Tenterden

• Committed to inclusive education and personalised support for all learners

• Supportive leadership team and a collaborative staff culture

• Strong partnership with families and local services

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Experience working with children (school-based or similar settings)

• A patient, adaptable and empathetic approach

• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• A genuine passion for supporting young learners

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
