Due to continued growth and investment across their production facility, they''re looking to strengthen their maintenance team with an additional engineer.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, forward-thinking engineering department in a varied and hands-on role.This is what you''ll be doing:The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and fault finding across a wide range of process and packing equipment on site. Your focus will be keeping machinery running safely and efficiently, supporting reactive repairs as well as ongoing improvements and upgrades.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair faults on production and process equipmentCarry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasksWork with PLCs (I/O), inverters, heating elements, servo motors, sensors, etc.Mechanical work on conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, shafts, tensioners, bearingsSupport maintenance of high-speed packing lines, fillers, pasteurisers, and inspection systemsComplete and improve PPM routines, contributing to OEE targetsRecord and report maintenance activity clearly and accuratelySupport with site projects and continuous improvement activitiesThe experience you''ll bring to the team:Time-served or fully qualified engineer (City and Guilds / HNC / HND or similar)Strong electrical skillset essentialConfident fault finding on PLC-controlled equipment (Siemens / Allen Bradley beneficial)Comfortable working with motors, pumps, conveyors, and gearbox systemsPrevious experience in FMCG or food/drinks production preferredAdditional skills such as welding, turning or milling would be a bonusAnd this is what you''ll get in return:53,000 annual salary4 on 4 off shift patternCompany pension schemeCycle to work schemeEmployee discount on productsFree on-site parkingA collaborative team environment with strong investment in equipment and technologyAre you up to the challenge?If you''re a reliable, hands-on engineer with a background in fast-paced manufacturing, we''d love to hear from you.Please apply with an up-to-date CV or get in touch with engineering recruiter Liam Reid to find out more.Know someone who might be interested?
