Test Shop Operative – Wolverhampton 
Pay: £15.09 – £18.32 per hour

Shifts: Double Days (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm) or Nights (10pm–6am)

Location: Wolverhampton

  Are you an experienced Test Shop Operative looking for your next opportunity in Wolverhampton? 
Our well-established client is expanding their Test Shop team and is looking for skilled operatives with hands-on experience in testing, inspection, and refurbishment work.

 Key Responsibilities: 

•  Strip down cylinders ready for refurbishment
  
  

•  Perform ultrasound and pressure testing
  
  

•  Carry out visual inspections and record results accurately
  
  

•  Complete basic assembly and reassembly work
  
  

•  Safely operate forklift trucks (FLT licence preferred)
  
  

•  Load cylinders onto automated lines for shot blast and paint spray
  
  

•  Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  
  

 

 
 Requirements: 

•  Previous experience as a Test Shop Operative, Production Operative, Mechanical Operative, or similar
  
  

•  Strong understanding of testing and inspection processes
  
  

•  Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  
  

 
•  Willingness to work rotating shifts or nights
