You will assist in the day-to-day management of our infrastructure and provide support to the service desk.Your responsibilities will include managing patching and endpoint security, administering Active Directory for user and group management, and ensuring the proper handling and renewal of SSL certificates for secure communication across systems. A strong understanding of Windows administration is essential, along with experience in maintaining and supporting critical infrastructure systems. You will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, supporting cybersecurity initiatives, and implementing best practices for securing systems and networks.You will be expected to carry out key tasks such as server migrations, security patches, and infrastructure maintenance tasks outside of standard working hours.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the daily management of infrastructure operationsTroubleshoot and resolve support cases, including memory issues and server crashesManage patching and endpoint security for all devicesAdminister Active Directory for user and group managementWork closely with internal teams to maintain system stability and performanceProvide internal support for hardware and software related issuesDevelop and implement Security Solutions for supported systemsPreferred Skills:Experience with AWS systemsProficiency in Linux/Unix environmentsKnowledge of PostgreSQL databasesExperience in Windows administration and endpoint managementStrong knowledge of Active Directory and patch managementFamiliarity with SSL certificates and managing secure communication protocolsKnowledge of warehouse management and/or supply chain operationsRequirements:Knowledge of the SQL LanguageUnix CommandsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team and independentlySelf-motivated with a proactive approachStrong organisational and time-management skillsAbility to work outside of standard working hours when required
