Officer - 96-110k + 20-30% bonusLocation: Must be able to work 2-4 days a week from one of the Kent or Surrey locations - Sevenoaks, Woking, or Hampton. A car is required, as not all sites are accessible by public transport.Please note - the candidate will be from multi-site hospitality/leisure/sports organisations.About Our Client

We are seeking a fun, dynamic Chief Finance and I.T. Officer with a people-first approach and fresh ideas to join our clients senior leadership team. This is a hands-on role combining strategic financial leadership (85%) with technology oversight (15%).Reporting directly to the CEO, youll be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, strategic planning, and digital resilience while managing a team of finance and I.T. professionals.Key Responsibilities
Finance (85%)
Provide strategic financial leadership and insights to the CEO and BoardLead accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysisManage balance sheet and ensure strong financial governancePrepare monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, and auditsMaintain financial controls and risk management frameworksEnsure compliance with charity and tax regulationsSupport pricing models, capital expenditure proposals, and commercial contractsOversee procurement and financial controls across multiple sitesI.T. (15%)
Lead technology strategy to support operational efficiency and growthManage relationships with external I.T. providersOversee implementation, maintenance, and security of core systemsEnsure data protection, cyber security, and complianceIdentify digital innovation and process improvement opportunitiesSupport integration of management systems and customer-facing technologyLeadership
Line manage a multidisciplinary team of five finance and I.T. professionalsFoster a collaborative, high-performing culture of continuous improvementContribute to organisational strategy as part of the senior leadership teamDevelop effective relationships with site managers and internal stakeholdersPerson Specification
Proven experience in senior finance leadershipRecognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Experience managing I.T. operations or working with technology providersTrack record of delivering financial insights that drive performance and growthStrong leadership and people management skillsExperience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and reportingExcellent understanding of financial compliance and charity governanceStrong communication skills - able to explain complex information clearlyExperience leading and developing high-performing teamsExperience working with Boards and senior stakeholdersHighly Desirable
Experience in membership, hospitality, multi-site or leisure industryKnowledge of venue management systems or EPOS solutionsExperience managing external suppliers and contractsExperience working collaboratively with sales and marketing functionsAuditing experienceExperience of working with charitable missions and social impact initiativesPassion for sport, community engagement, or charitable initiativesWhat We''re Looking For
