Supply Desk is seeking a talented and committed Humanities Teacher for a full-time, long-term position at a supportive and dynamic secondary school in High Wycombe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that values academic excellence and holistic development.
About the Role:
- Full-time teaching position focused on Humanities subjects for Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable).
- This is a long-term role with potential for career development and progression.
- Responsible for planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons across Humanities disciplines, such as History, Geography, and Religious Education.
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all learners.
- Monitor, assess, and provide constructive feedback to support and accelerate student progress and achievement.
The ideal candidate will:
- A current, valid DBS certificate or a willingness to obtain one.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Able to provide two years of verifiable employment references.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and education.
- Confident in delivering lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting is essential.
