Postdoctoral Research Associate In Bioinformatics and Machine Learning

About the RoleApplications are sought for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to undertake research investigations in collaboration with and under the supervision of Dr Özgen Deniz to realise the objectives and development of the research programme on the Oncogenic and Immunogenic Roles of Transposable Elements in Cancer. The appointed PDRA will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team and will collaborate with bioinformaticians, experimentalists and clinicians.About YouEssential requirements for this post include a PhD in a relevant biological or computational subject and background in computational analyses of epigenomic/transcriptomic data and machine learning. Experience in single-cell omics data is desirable. The post holder will be responsible to develop pipelines for the analysis of transposable elements and must be organised, highly self-motivated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
