Job summary Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust (HCT) is looking for a valued member into their Inpatient Rehabilitation Team. This role provides both clinical and administrative support within the Herts and Essex bed-based team, carrying a personal caseload under the guidance of qualified allied healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, multi-professional therapy packages. To remain attentive to each patients needs during illness or disability, actively promoting and encouraging their independence, restoration of function, and self-management to support them in achieving their personalised rehabilitation goals. Main duties of the job In this role, you will work as part of the inpatient therapy team at Herts and Essex Hospital, a 32-bedded unit in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire, specialising in the rehabilitation of patients with a range of conditions including falls, orthopaedic injuries, general medical issues, and amputations, with most patients following a 17-day rehabilitation pathway. You will work closely alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Rehabilitation Assistants, as well as the wider multidisciplinary team, to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation packages. Your responsibilities will include supporting qualified staff in delivering both individual and group therapy interventions to promote patient recovery and independence.
