We are currently working with one of our clients based in South Cambridge who are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. This role is office based and would suit an individual with proven experience in a similar reporting or technical accounting position. Typical duties include: Preparing statutory accounts accurately and within required deadlines Supporting external and internal audit processes Producing financial reports and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP Assisting FPandA teams with analysis and insight when needed Preparing budgets and forecasts, and delivering insightful variance analysis Undertaking additional ad-hoc tasks to support the wider finance function You will have: A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) Strong attention to detail and solid understanding of accounting principles A robust technical accounting skillset Ability to manage your own workload effectively If this role looks like the new challenge that you are looking for, please apply via the advert or contact John at Eclectic Recruitment.
