This is a largely office-based position, though occasional site visits to Central London clients may be required. You''ll play a key role in resolving tickets, supporting junior engineers, and helping shape technical solutions. There''s a clear progression route for those keen to step into 3rd line and lead project work.Key Responsibilities:Provide 2nd line support across a broad IT environment (hardware/software/networking)
Mentor and assist junior team members
Handle escalations from 1st line and resolve complex technical issues
Assist in project planning and implementation
Requirements:Proven experience in a 2nd line or technical service desk environment
Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop, server, and networking issues
Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
Customer-centric attitude and ability to work well in a team
Commercial experience in an MSP environment (ideal)
MCSE or similar qualification (preferred)
Tech Stack Includes:Microsoft OS (Desktop and Server)
Exchange, SQL Server, Active Directory
Symantec Backup Exec, Veeam, SonicWALL, routers/firewalls
LAN/WAN, wireless networks, VPNs
Desktop applications and remote support tools
