Permanent, Part Time (0.6)Please note that this post is funded for the 2026/27 academic year onwards so the successful candidate would not be expected to commence in post prior to August 2026.The School for Vocational and Technical Studies at South Thames College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Plumbing lecturer to deliver outstanding quality teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support to students to maximise achievement and continuous improvement.You''ll play a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum with employer engagement and learner skills development and select appropriate assessment methods and criteria, assess the work and progress of students by reference to the criteria and provide constructive feedback to students.We''d like you to hold a plumbing qualification, a teaching qualification and have recent teaching experience in Plumbing in an FE College. With proven ability to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons, you''ll have experience of assessing, tracking and supporting student progress effectively.With strong classroom management skills, able to motivate diverse learners, you''ll have good understanding of current FE curriculum frameworks and quality standards.
