Application Support Analyst

Hays are partnering with a financial services organisation based in Newport to support the recruitment of a permanent Application Support Analyst. The role offers flexible hybrid working and a salary up to £50,000pa depending on experience. In the role, you will collaborate closely with end-users, support teams, and developers to troubleshoot issues, optimise system performance, and elevate the overall user experience. The role involves active participation in testing processes, including user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and implementing test automation strategies. Responsibilities include:Managing and resolving application incidents, identifying root causes, and preventing recurrenceMonitoring system health and supporting performance improvementsAssisting users with onboarding, training, and validating releasesMaintaining accurate documentation and sharing knowledgeCollaborating across teams to ensure stable deployments and compliance with processesKey Skills Required You''ll need to be a clear communicator with strong analytical skills and a proactive, service-oriented approach. Comfortable in fast-paced settings, you manage multiple priorities and engage effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
