Our client is a long established engineering company, operating from a single seven acre site. The company manufactures medium to heavy engineered components for the Mining, Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries, and specialises in large capacity CNC machining of components up to 13m in length and 35 Tons in weight. The company has extensive in-house facilities and employs a highly skilled workforce to cover flame-cutting, forging, fabrication, conventional machining, CNC machining & component testing.

The Position

CNC Programmer / Operator Milling

The successful candidate must be apprentice trained /fully skilled and be able to program, set and operate medium to large capacity CNC Machining centres (traverse up to 13.5 metres and components up to 35 tonnes) using Fanuc, Heidenhain and Siemens controls. Must be able to write new programs from technical drawings and edit existing programs. Should have knowledge of modern tooling and methods and be able to work with minimum supervision.
The successful candidate must be available to work either day or afternoon shifts.

Hours of Work

Day Shift (39 Hours)
Monday to Thursday 06:45am - 3:15pm
Friday 6:45am - 2:15pm

Afternoon Shift (36 Hours)
Monday to Thursday 3:00pm - 12:00am

Day Shift -20.32 / Hour
Afternoon Shift -25.39 / Hour
