Assistant Site Manager - Freelance - Edinburgh

PSR Solutions are working with an established client within the Residential space to recruit an Assistant Site Manager / Finishing Manager to join their production team on a freelance basis.

Assistant Site Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager in planning, organising, and overseeing construction activities
• Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met
• Supervise subcontractors, labourers, and suppliers on a daily basis
• Monitor work progress and ensure that construction activities are carried out according to approved plans and schedules
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and according to safety regulations and company policies
• Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, equipment, and resources.
• Identify any on-site issues or problems and resolve them promptly to avoid delays.
• Escalate major issues to the Site Manager and assist in finding solutions.
