Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the operating theatre before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assist in the administration of anaesthesia and monitor patients'' vital signs throughout surgery. Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain sterile conditions and adhere to infection control protocols at all times. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients pre- and post-operatively. Participate in the cleaning and sterilisation of surgical instruments and equipment. Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with hospital policies.
