We’re looking for a commercially sharp and resilient Senior Commercial Manager to lead our Sainsbury’s account — one of our most high-profile grocery partnerships. If you’ve got proven success in branded product portfolio, and are ready to deliver growth across multiple categories and routes to market, this is a role where you’ll make a visible impact.Take PandL ownership for the Sainsbury’s account, driving profitable growth and margin performance.Build, negotiate, and deliver an annual Joint Business Plan (JBP) with Sainsbury’s across all product categories and routes to market.Develop and execute strategies for emerging channels such as convenience and online.Work with Category, Marketing, and Innovation teams to deliver market-led branded NPD and customer activation plans.Lead forecasting, risk management, and promotional planning to maximise effectiveness.Champion Sainsbury’s within the business, ensuring their needs are represented in decision-making.Lead and mentor colleagues, fostering a culture of customer focus and continuous improvement.Essential / What You’ll Bring
Significant experience in major grocery account management, ideally with Sainsbury’s or another top 4 UK multiple.FMCG background within a business known for structured sales training.Proven track record in branded food (own label exposure is a plus).Strong commercial acumen with expertise in forecasting, promotions, and JBP delivery.Analytical, influential, and confident in building senior-level customer relationships.Resilient, tenacious, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.Experienced leader with a track record in mentoring and developing teams.Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.Desirable
Understanding of category management and NPD processes.Experience developing strategic promotional campaigns and market-led innovation.Degree qualification (preferred, not essential).Why Join Us?
