We are hiring a Platform Engineer to help maintain and evolve our global low-latency trading infrastructure. This is a London-based engineering role, focused on the reliability, observability, and performance of a mature FX and macro trading platform. You will work with a well-established Java codebase on Linux, supporting real-time systems used by a large global client base. This is not a Greenfield or quant role - we''re looking for someone passionate about robust systems, diagnostics, and platform engineering, not someone whose primary focus is trading strategies. Our platform is recognized as one of the largest FX trading systems globally. What You''ll Do Enhance and support low-latency Java services running on Red Hat Linux. Operate and extend our UDP multicast infrastructure, primarily Informatica LBM. Support and evolve FIX protocol connectivity for client and venue interfaces. Lead efforts around monitoring, alerting, and production stability. Work with tools including Geneos, Splunk, and Grafana to ensure observability. Collaborate with global engineering and support teams to drive operational excellence. Contribute to technical decision-making around reliability, performance, and incident response.
