The successful candidate will lead strategic financial planning, business partnering, and procurement, supporting a budget of approximately £110 million. Working closely with senior stakeholders, they will ensure financial compliance, drive value for money, and contribute to key decision-making processes.Your new role Lead strategic financial planning and business partnering across multiple directorates.Manage the annual budget-setting process and monthly financial performance reporting.Provide expert financial advice on savings, contingency, and recovery plans.Oversee procurement strategy and ensure compliance with public sector regulations.Support the development of strategic business cases and capital planning.Represent the organisation at internal and external financial forums.Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.What you''ll need to succeed Fully qualified accountant and full member of one of the following bodies: ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA, ICAI, ICAS, ICAEW, or CPA Ireland.Minimum of 3 years'' post-qualification experience in a middle-management role within a large, complex organisation.Proven track record in financial planning, performance management, and strategic advisor
