About Us Founded in 1997, GamCare is the leading provider of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling harms. We operate the National Gambling Helpline, provide treatment for anyone who is harmed by gambling, create awareness about safer gambling and treatment, and encourage an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry. The Role This is a crucial role in the External Affairs Team which is responsible for helping to position GamCare as the leading provider of help and support for gambling harm. You will proactively engage with Westminster, devolved parliaments, local government, and political stakeholders (e.g. MPs, Peers, Select Committees) to shape and influence policy affecting gambling-related harm and build and manage relationships with partners, opinion formers, charities, public bodies, and gambling-related organisations to raise GamCare''s profile and extend its influence. You will design and deliver external affairs plans that raise awareness of GamCare''s services (e.g. National Gambling Helpline) and align with its wider marketing and engagement goals.
