Actuarial Consultant to join our team in London (EC2Y 5AU London Wall) on a hybrid working basis between home and the office (2 days pw). This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified actuary or a part qualified actuary who is working toward qualifying as an actuary. Our services are designed to support trustees and employers by delivering pragmatic advice which brings clarity to complex issues such as investing assets, de-risking, longevity, risk management and the impact of legislative changes.Responsibilities

Calculate complex individual member calculations, check straightforward calculations and progressing to checking more complex calculationsUndertake the bulk of the calculations for an actuarial valuationReviewing draft client reports and advice and draft member communicationsAim to become a Client Account Manager for a number of clients and starting to take on a number of Client Account Manager dutiesAttend client meetings and take an active role where applicableSupporting various types of client projectsWorking with our corporate team on a wide range of areasGeneral consultancy, dealing with clients’ and third party queries and day to day correspondence providing technical advice where neededClient management, taking responsibility for allocation and completion of work, and meeting deadlines, working directly with senior members of the client teamQualifications

Fellowship Qualifications FIA / FAA or if training to be a qualified FIA / FAA, be part-qualified and making progress through the examsGood IT skillsGood presentation skillsDB pensions experience or a solid understanding of the basics of pensionsWhat’s in it for you
