Our client is seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Specialist to support customs operations and regulatory compliance across UK and EU markets.Key Responsibilities:Ensure accurate and timely completion of trade compliance reports and KPIsClassify goods correctly using appropriate tariff codesComplete and monitor import, export, transit, ICS and ENS declarationsProvide UK import guidance and liaise with HMRCManage CITES permits, applications, notifications and trackersAudit customs entries to ensure compliance with UK/EU regulationsMaintain accurate records, trackers, SharePoint documentation and invoicingSupport internal projects and improve operational efficienciesBuild strong relationships across departments and external partnersSkills and Experience:3-5 years'' experience in customs or trade compliance (corporate or brokerage environment)Strong knowledge of UK and EU customs regulations and documentationExperience with CITES permits (desirable)Solid understanding of commodity codes, duties, valuation and IncotermsConfident communicator with strong organisational skillsIntermediate Excel skillsAble to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentFlexible approach, with occasional weekend work as requiredThis is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented compliance professional looking to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation.
