This is a full-time, long-term position that requires dedication, emotional intelligence, and a trauma-informed approach to behaviour.About You: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Proven experience supporting children in a primary school setting, particularly those with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs or behavioural difficultiesA solid understanding of trauma-informed practice and how early adverse experiences can impact behaviour and learningA calm, patient and nurturing approach, with the ability to de-escalate situations and build trustConfidence working with individual behaviour plans, risk assessments and positive handling techniques (Team Teach or similar training is a bonus)Strong communication skills - able to liaise effectively with class teachers, SENCOs, parents/carers, and external agenciesA genuine passion for supporting children to reach their potential, no matter the challenges they faceKey Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 support
