Assistant Management Accountant
RM Recruit are excited to be working with a Birmingham based organisation who are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary, full-time basis for circa 2 months with the scope for it to become permanent. This is a remote working role with the office presence set at once or twice per month. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts Supporting budget monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis Processing accruals, prepayments, and journal entries Reconciling balance sheets and supporting month-end close Assisting with financial reporting and analysis for management review Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc financial projects and tasks Appropriately challenge budget holders so that they can achieve their corporate objectives. Liaise with internal and external auditors on relevant audit work. Assist in preparation of reports to the Executive Team and the Group Board. To represent the Finance team and Group at external meetings as required. Person Specification: Part-qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience Strong Excel and financial systems skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Previous experience in a similar management accounting or finance support role If you re an enthusiastic finance professional looking for your next temporary to permanent oppor
