Part Time • PermanentSalary - £23,757.00 - £25,846.00 Annually (Actual) P6Start Date May 2026Working 32.5 hours per week/39 weeks per yearWe are seeking a dedicated Lead Medical Teaching Assistant at West Hill School to take responsibility for the delivery and oversight of medical procedures, pupil care plans, and intimate care plans across our school. Working closely with colleagues, families, and external professionals, you will play a key role in ensuring pupils with additional medical needs can thrive, learn, and access every opportunity.You will also support classroom teams and, as required, lead small groups of pupils in response to their individual needs. This is a vital, hands-on role ideally suited to someone calm, compassionate, organised, and committed to exceptional care.Key Responsibilities:Leading the delivery of medical routines, procedures, and care plansCreating, monitoring and updating medical and intimate care plansSupporting and guiding Teaching Assistants in providing safe, effective careWorking with external agencies and professionals as requiredContributing to pupils'' learning, well-being, and personal developmentEnsuring all medical procedures are carried out in line with school policies and safeguarding protocolsSupporting pupils and class teams across the schoolManaging resources, supplies, and relevant documentationResponding to enquiries and reporting concerns in line with safeguarding and school proceduresQualifications and Skills:Minimum 5 GCSEs
