This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance and providing clear reporting to support strategic decision making. The role offers variety and autonomy, with involvement across day-to-day accounting, financial reporting and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of company accounting using Sage 50 Accounts Oversee purchase and sales ledgers, petty cash and daily bank reconciliations Administer supplier payments and customer receipts efficiently Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Complete VAT returns and manage payroll via Sage Pay (PAYE, pensions, HMRC updates) Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures including reconciliations Support budgeting and forecasting, analysing variances and advising on improvements Monitor aged debtors and implement effective credit control Oversee high-volume client accounts Ma
