KS2 Teacher - Near Towcester, Northamptonshire
Full-time | Temporary Contract | MPS | November 2025 Start

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a friendly, small primary school near Towcester, starting after the October half term. This is a full-time, temporary position to cover a planned absence, working with a mixed-year group class.

The school has been rated ''Good'' by Ofsted, with a strong sense of community and supportive leadership. This role offers the chance to work in a nurturing environment where every pupil is known and valued.

• Start date: Monday 3rd November 2025 (after half term)

• Contract: Full-time, temporary (duration to be confirmed)

• Location: Rural setting near Towcester, Northamptonshire

• Class: Mixed-age Key Stage 2

• Salary: Main Pay Scale (M3-M6)

• QTS and previous KS2 teaching experience required

• Not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

• Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Brings proven experience in KS2 and confidence teaching mixed-year groups

• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and planning skills

• Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families

• Embraces the values and community spirit of a small school environment
