AccountabilitiesEnsuring the requirements of the Council''s financial strategy are metTo identify savings within the financial budget to support the medium-term financial plan (MTFP)To be responsible for the production of annual budgets, forecasting outturns and monitoring reports to deliver a robust medium-term financial position across the CouncilWork collaboratively with Directors and Heads of Service in their departments and to members to ensure an integral part of decision making and a key player in all major pieces of work and projectsRespond to information requests quickly and accuratelyProvide financial reports for departmental meetings as requiredProvide specialist technical advice relating to their areas of responsibilityProvide advice and support regarding the financial aspects of local systems.
