This is a key role supporting the Finance Manager in ensuring the smooth running of daily finance operations within a busy and collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statementsPreparing and posting sales invoicesPerforming bank reconciliations and maintaining cashbooksAssisting with credit control including chasing outstanding paymentsSupporting month-end processes such as journals and accruals preparationMaintaining accurate financial records and filesLiaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queriesSupporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks and reporting as requiredSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience working in a finance assistant or accounts assistant roleStrong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processesConfident using finance systems and Excel (VLOOKUPs and basic formulas as a minimum)Excellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication skills for effective internal and external stakeholder engagementAbility to prioritise workload and meet deadlines within a busy finance functionAAT qualification (desirable) or working towardsWhat is OfferedCompetitive salary of 30,000 per annumOpportunity to
