QA Engineer, skilled with Citrix/VDI required by a leading Hedge Fund - 5 days a week onsite in Mayfair. INSIDE IR35 The client need someone specializing in Workspace Engineering, the primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and virtual desktop solutions. You will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and automated scripts for Windows-based environments, Citrix VDI, and related technologies. The team is responsible for testing new products for office use, including hardware, software, and tools such as computers and WebEx systems. The work is a mix of manual and automated testing, with a stronger focus on manual testing (eg, processes like login cannot be automated). Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute manual and automated tests for Windows-based, Citrix VDI environments, and other workspace engineering solutions. Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to identify and resolve defects across multiple environments. Validate the functionality and performance of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions, including Citrix environments, ensuring seamless user experiences. Test Windows-based build, applications and configurations to ensure compatibility and reliability within workspace solutions. Work closely with product managers, and workspace engineering teams to understand system requirements, create comprehensive test plans, and ensure clear communication of issues and resolutions
