A leading specialist law firm is looking for a Junior Compliance / AML Analyst to join its growing Risk and Compliance function. This newly created role supports the Lead Compliance/AML Analyst and offers broad exposure across the firm, working closely with Partners, EAs, Finance and clients. It''s an excellent opportunity for someone early in their compliance career who wants to develop in a high-performing, collaborative environment. This is a hybrid role, in the City of London.Responsibilities:Onboard new clients and matters in line with internal policiesConduct CDD checks, including sanctions, PEPs and adverse media screeningIdentify higher-risk situations and escalate for enhanced due diligenceLiaise with fee-earners, EAs and clients to gather required informationMaintain high-risk and PEP registersSupport the wider Risk and Compliance team with ad hoc tasks and projectsRequirementsDegree-level education, ICA certificates an advantageAML experience, ideally within a Legal settingStrong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detailCurious and commercially aware, with an interest in ownership structures and economic crime risksExcellent communication and organisational skills
