Architecture

An award-winning Architects practice is seeking a friendly and proactive Receptionist to provide a professional first point of contact for staff, visitors, and clients for their busy design studio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, personable and enjoys working in a dynamic creative environment.

The role:

  • Ensure the reception area is kept presentable
  • Working closely with the office manager
  • Handle incoming telephone calls, screening and directing queries as necessary
  • Manage meeting room bookings and assist with meeting room set-up and clear-down
  • Serve refreshments and ensure meeting spaces are well prepared
  • Receive, sort and distribute post and deliveries
  • Assist with booking couriers, travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Support document control processes
  • Monitor and replenish stationery and office supplies when required
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required

About you:

  • Previous Reception experience desirable but no essential
  • Happy to be office based 5 days
  • Previous experience working within hospitality advantageous
  • Friendly, professional and confident in engaging with people at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Calm, proactive and adaptable, especially when working under pressure
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support colleagues
