Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Component Engineer (Body Engineering) to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a maternity cover contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027.

Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour.

Responsible for selecting, approving and qualifying purchased components utilized in assemblies or end products. Ensures selections are both cost efficient and reliable. Troubleshoots issues with purchased components. Works closely with developers to evaluate design reviews of components.

Responsibilities:

• Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
• Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
