Copello are supporting a leading global regulatory consultancy in their search to find a Systems Engineer.

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team working at the forefront of defence innovation. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge military systems, with real-world impact on national and global security.

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in MOD programmes across the CADMID cycle and in a number of domains, providing expert consultation to design, develop, and integrate complex systems and technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle, from concept through to delivery.
• Engage with stakeholders to capture and manage requirements.
• Develop system architectures, design solutions, and conduct trade studies.
• Perform systems integration, verification, and validation.
• Provide technical insight and independent advice to guide critical decision-making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various domains.

About You:

• Proven experience in systems engineering within the defence sector or other safety-critical environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with MOD standards, systems lifecycle processes, and defence acquisition frameworks (e.g., CADMID/CADMIT).
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and relevant tools (e.g., DOORS, Enterprise Architect).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
