Setting and Operating CNC Lathe.Fanuc Series OI-TD controlled lathes.Read and interpret engineering drawings and translate these.Data collection i.e., recording of measurements before and after machining.Visual inspection on machined components.Work under pressure and to tight deadlines.Operate on your own initiative, but also able to contribute to a team environment.What Kind of Person Fits This Job? Experience using long bed lathes, machining standard bored /profiled tubes and offsets, using either CNC with Fanuc Series OI-TD or manual controls, turning component lengths up to 10metres long in a wide range of stainless/ super and carbon alloys.Minimum of 2-3 years'' experience in turning working in a manufacturing environment.Experience using overhead cranes.Familiarity with modern management techniques such as TPM and 5s.MUST be able to work to tolerance and accurately using Micrometres/Callipers/Bore C
