This role has been newly created to look after existing clients across the UK plus identifying new business opportunities and new markets as growth areas. Working alongside the external sales representatives, you will be tasked with finding new sales opportunities. Duties Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, products and services Information gathering such as getting the correct contact within an organisation Follow up quotations generated by the sales team Warm call existing customers, generate leads and cold call potential customers Visit customers Understand the needs of your customers and be able respond to effectively with a plan of action Be able to think strategically see the bigger picture. Set goals and objectives to develop new business Support bid-writing for new grants and contracts Attend seminars, conferences and events to build your business network and profile.
