Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

We are seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to work at our busy practice, which includes one main hospital and four satellite branches. We promote growth and development within the team, providing access to a large client base with a wide variety of cases, equipment, CPD, and a supportive environment. In this role, you will work with a dedicated team of Vets, Nurses, and support staff to deliver excellent client and patient care. The position is based at our main site in Prestbury Park, with responsibilities covering supporting sites. It may also suit someone interested in taking more responsibility as a branch lead.
Rota patterns that work for youWe value work-life balance and offer flexible working arrangements for both part- and full-time applicants. A typical full-time role involves working an average of 37 hours per week over four days, with one in four Saturday mornings. No out-of-hours or on-call duties are required.
About usLocated in Cheltenham, known for horse racing and a vibrant social scene, Dragon Vets is an established practice with advanced equipment such as CT, DR, endoscopy, ultrasonography, and laparoscopic kits. Our team includes 16 vets, some with specialist qualifications, and a dedicated support staff. We handle complex surgeries and medical cases, often performing procedures referred elsewhere. Our 24-hour care is supported by Vets Now, and our nursing team comprises 17 RVNs and 4 SVNs.
