Job Title - Senior Maintenance SurveyorLocation - DurhamSalary - Daily Rate £200.00 per day + Type - Full-time, Contract About the Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Maintenance Surveyor to join our property services team in Durham. This is a key leadership role responsible for the effective delivery of maintenance services across our housing portfolio. You ll take the lead on diagnosing building defects, managing responsive repairs, and delivering high-quality maintenance solutions that ensure our properties are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage property inspections, identifying maintenance requirements and planning remedial works. Oversee the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance programs. Manage contractors and in-house teams, ensuring quality standards, compliance, and value for money. Provide technical advice to colleagues, tenants, and stakeholders. Contribute to budget planning and cost control, ensuring financial efficiency in all maintenance activities. Ensure all work is compliant with relevant legislation, health and safety requirements, and internal policies. What We re Looking For Proven experience in a similar surveying or maintenance management role. HNC/HND or degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
