Due-to-continued-success-and-a-strong-pipeline-of-secured-AMP8-work,-they-are-looking-to-appoint-a-Mechanical-Project-Engineer-to-support-the-delivery-of-projects-primarily-across-the-Severn-Trent-Water-framework,-with-opportunities-to-work-on-schemes-across-the-Thames-Water-region-when-required.

This-is-an-excellent-opportunity-to-join-an-ambitious-business-delivering-complete-Civil,-Mechanical,-Electrical,-Instrumentation-and-Automation-(MEICA)-solutions-on-projects-ranging-from-small-upgrades-through-to-multi-million-pound-capital-investment-schemes.

Working-closely-with-Project-Managers,-Site-Teams,-Designers-and-Supply-Chain-Partners,-you''ll-play-a-key-role-in-ensuring-mechanical-packages-are-delivered-safely,-efficiently,-on-time-and-within-budget.

Key-Responsibilities

• Support-the-successful-delivery-of-mechanical-elements-across-a-portfolio-of-water-and-wastewater-projects.
• Manage-mechanical-engineering-activities-from-design-review-through-to-installation,-commissioning-and-handover.
• Liaise-with-clients,-designers,-subcontractors-and-suppliers-to-ensure-seamless-project-delivery.
• Review-and-technically-assess-mechanical-designs,-specifications-and-procurement-packages.
• Coordinate-mechanical-installations-with-civil,-electrical-and-ICA-disciplines.
• Assist-with-programme-planning,-resource-allocation-and-project-reporting.
• Monitor-progress-against-programme,-budget-and-quality-objectives.
• Support-procurement-activities-and-manage-supplier-relationships.
• Carry-out-factory-acceptance-visits,-inspections-and-quality-audits-where-required.
• Provide-technical-support-to-site-teams-during-construction-and-installation-phases.
• Work-alongside-commercial-teams-to-identify-opportunities-for-value-engineering-and-cost-efficiencies.
• Ensure-all-works-are-delivered-in-line-with-company-health,-safety,-environmental-and-quality-standards.

About-You

We''re-keen-to-speak-with-individuals-who-have-experience-delivering-mechanical-projects-within-the-water,-utilities,-process,-industrial-or-infrastructure-sectors.

You-will-ideally-have:

• Experience-working-as-a-Project-Engineer,-Mechanical-Engineer-or-similar-within-a-project-environment.
• Previous-involvement-in-water-and-wastewater-projects-would-be-highly-advantageous.
• HNC,-HND-or-Degree-qualification-in-a-Mechanical-Engineering-discipline.
• Good-understanding-of-mechanical-installations,-pumping-systems,-pipework-and-process-equipment.
• Strong-communication-and-stakeholder-management-skills.
• Commercial-awareness-and-the-ability-to-work-collaboratively-with-project-delivery-teams.
• CSCS-Card.
• SMSTS-or-SSSTS-qualification-(preferred).
• Full-UK-Driving-Licence.
