We are currently seeking an experienced Consultant Sub agent to oversee the delivery of a key scheme under the SDF framework - the replacement of a pedestrian footbridge over the A21 near Tonbridge.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in highways and structural works, ideally with experience delivering schemes involving bridge replacements or similar infrastructure.Key Responsibilities: Lead on-site delivery of the pedestrian footbridge replacement project Coordinate site activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards Interface with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure programme targets are met Manage programme using Microsoft Project Oversee crane operations (Appointed Person status desirable)Requirements: Proven experience working as a sub agent Agent on highways and/or structures projects Strong understanding of bridge construction and associated traffic management Proficient in Microsoft Project for programme management and reporting Crane Appointed Person certification is advantageous but not essential Ability to lead site teams effectively and ensure safe, timely project deliveryDuration: Initial 3-month contract with potential for extension based on performance and workload FOOTNOTE:If you feel that you are right for this role technically, but the rate, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
