Job title - Production Operative - Food Industry Pay rate - 12.21 p/h Working hours - 7.00am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. 1x 30 minute unpaid break, and 2x 15 minute paid breaks throughout your shift. Ambient Temperature PLEASE NOTE - Site has nut, egg, dairy and gluten allergens onsite. Job Description: Working in a busy production environment including, filling, wrapping and packaging products while adhering to food safety and quality procedures. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Packing baked goods accurately and efficiently Filling and decorating products to required standards Assisting with mixing ingredients when trained Lifting and handling raw materials and finished products (up to 10kg) Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the work area Following food safety, quality, and health and safety procedures at all times What is required from you: Previous experience in food production or a related industry preferred Familiarity with production processes, standards, and food safety regulations, including proper handling, sanitation, and storage practices Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving hands and arms Physically capable of frequent bending, stooping, and twisting Able to lift up to 10kg on a regular basis Job Type: Full-time Pay: 12.21 per hour
