Role Description Join Our Team as a Support Worker- Drivers Only Location:Kennington, Oxfordshire Salary: £14.34 per hour (£27,963 per annum) plus benefits: paid induction; overtime paid over 37.5 contracted hours Hours: 8.00am to 8.00pm and 8.00pm to 8.00am (Monday to Sunday on a mixed shift rota basis. Please note, the shifts may vary due to the needs of the people we support) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Driving Requirement: A valid full UK manual driving license is essential, as you would be required to drive an alternative vehicle Right to Work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. I am a young man with autism and moderate learning difficulties, I live alone in a purposely built home. I like routine and predictability. I find it very challenging when I cannot go out and do things that I enjoy. I like to go out in my vehicle daily on a pre-planned route, which my support workers are required to drive. I love music, BBC 1, BBC 2 radio and colouring activities, going out in my van to activities. My mother is very important to me in my life and is involved in my support and wellbeing. My favourite food is pasta. My support workers need to be dedicated, resilient, creative, flexible and think outside of the box to enable me to reach my full potential.
