Due to continued business growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit a Team Leader to join this busy operation. Shift: 4 on 4 off 6.00pm - 06.00am Pay rate: £14.70ph • To take responsibility for the shift and managing the warehouse operation in the absence of the Shift Manager whilst being an active hands-on member of the team .• Responsible for meeting KPIs regarding cost, dock waste and delivery. • To communicate effectively with the Transport Operations Team to ensure all vehicles leave on time. • To lead by example. • To ensure all administrative tasks for the warehouse operation are completed where appropriate. Warehouse: • To ensure orders are picked accurately. • To ensure goods-in are receipted in accordance with policy. • Ensure all loads are checked and completed in full prior to despatch. • Ensure all loads are secure prior to despatch .• To ensure stock rotation is maintained at all times. • To manually load and unload trailers. • To confirm all inbound and outbound loads are accurate. To report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Shift Manager. • To assist with stock cycle count. • To ensure all paperwork is completed accurately. • To work efficiently to agreed timescales. People Management • To provide advice and guidance on issues to members of the warehouse team .• To train shift employees to meet the required procedures and performance standards and ensure the training
