Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Commercial Plumber for a temporary position on a school site in St Helens, starting Monday. The role will involve working with copper press fittings and piping up sinks as part of a plumbing renewal project.

This is a straight-forward plumbing role focused on system upgrades, not full installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and replace copper pipework using press-fit systems
• Pipe up and connect sinks only - no basins involved
• Carry out work in line with project drawings and site instructions
• Ensure all plumbing work meets current regulations and health & safety standards
• Work efficiently within a live school environment with minimum disruption
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades on-site

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing - essential
• Demonstrable experience in commercial plumbing environments
• Competent in copper press-fit installation
• Experience piping up sinks in commercial or institutional settings
• Valid CSCS card
• Must have own tools and PPE
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
