Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Children''s Senior Support Worker to lead shifts and ensure the highest standards of care for children in a residential setting. The role involves planning and managing shifts, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, and providing leadership and support to the care team. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, manage, and lead shifts, ensuring children are kept safe and engaged. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children in our care at all times. Be flexible, consistent, reflective, and creative in your engagement with the young people. Sleep overnight at the home as required. Work flexibly, including office hours, early mornings, late nights, regular weekends, and bank holidays. Manage all risks in line with company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with the team regarding daily plans. Provide reports and documentation reflecting the progress of the young people using paperless systems. Review the young people''s care plans and other associated documentation. Attend staff meetings and proactively develop and improve the service model.
