Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that''s quality is recognised as second to none. Due to exciting plans for 2025 they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Technical team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• To liaise with contractors and arrange for site visits to ensure that work is carried out to expected standard.
• Carry out maintenance on equipment during non-planned and planned maintenance shuts in a timely manner
• Analysis of breakdowns to determine root cause and prevent re-occurrence.
• Undertake projects of improvement, extension or modification or equipment in order to optimise efficiency, reliability and safety.
• Carry out maintenance on all equipment across the site including conveyors, pumps, cranes, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
• Working at height and be part of the rescue at height team (Full training and PPE will be provided)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• NVQ3 / HNC In Electrical Maintenance or relevant degree
• Supervisory / Team lead experience wwithin a maintenance environment
• 18th Edition
• Plastics / Food / Packaging / Warehouse industry experience within a Electrical Maintenance position
• PLC fault finding - Siemens
• Experience of medium and low voltage systems
• Experience of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong knowledge of Variable speed drives, AC and DC, picking cranes, conveyor systems instrumentation and pneumatics
