This Accountant role will be crucial in providing timely and accurate financial information for operating businesses and for Group reporting.DescriptionDuties include:Completion of month end, seeing the process through from start to finishPreparation and posting of invoices, cashbooks and journalsUsing the trial balance to create a PandL, Balance Sheet and Cashflow statementProviding useful insight and commentary via variance analysis of actual performance versus budgetBalance sheet reconciliations and completion of group reporting packManagement of debtors and credit controlWork closely with our operational business leaders to provide financial supportWork closely with the FPandA Manager on production of budgets and forecasts, including weekly cash forecastingBanking and payments, including monthly payment runKPI reporting for operational businessesPreparation of audit informationStatutory accounts and tax, including corporation tax and VAT returnsAdhere to Group policies and promote best practice around the GroupProfileThe candidate should have:Previous experience within a similar rol
